Tears of the Soul

Irrelevant

Solitude in darkness
Shines elsewhere
Lonely days and cold nights
The void
Where happiness once dwelled
Waterfalls dried up
and
the drum no longer beats

The familiar
Feelings gone never to return
Only in times of frustration and anguish
Fantasies of long rides over
of Wonderment
In a land of dried shores
A light shines brightly in the night
for the horizon
For which beyond holds joy
Beaming brightly/ attracting none worthy
Needing a caretaker to fend for it in a loving way
Stressing about its condition

Season's change
pass
only to find
That it was too late
The one who would be the one
given up
Never to feel up to it again
Trying to hide/ or/ subside
Feelings of incompetence
Realizing reality.
