About the Author

My name is Sunshine and I am, at best, a poet. Sentiments of the mind and matters of the heart are my specialty. I've written poems for clarification, meditation, and communication of the emotions we are all subjected to experience.

I am a force to be felt. I am the voice who is always heard. I am the one who is always seen. I am a friend who always likes to listen. I am the one who always tries. I am the girl who does fight dirty. And I know it. I accept it. It can only be that which it is... the truth. I've given so much of what I thought was desired of me that the well has run dry. I for one am not mad. Life can't always be what we want it to be.

I studied to be a social worker but I consider myself a humanitarian. I am driven to help as many as I can regardless of human error. I once lost sight of the line between this and my personal life and gain a whole new line of perspective. The game is the same but the rules have changed. Life is of the most importance and to love is to live.
