Tears of the Soul

Desire

Something calls from within the dark

Beckoning me to come closer

Sweat beads form on my brow as I draw nearer

Intense heat licks at my soul… burning

Begging me to come… come… come…

Like I've never before

Legs feel quaky at the imagining of motion

One quick swift movement

And the shore is open

Waves crashing the tender flesh

Lips anxiously swelling in fear

Of what could possibly happen

Immense emotional walls of passion build

Awaiting arrival

Consciousness comes and goes

Nothing is reality, but all is fantasy

As the mind takes a peak

Of what makes the heart fly

Time goes by, scenes change

But the greatest one remains

To take charge of the fire

Flames quenched through tedious strokes

As the pressure arises at the top

Steam erupts in the downpour

Of milky white rain.
