This is a poem written for a friend who helped me survive through difficult times with confused love only to make us closer.
If I ask you what's wrong, you'll lie
But your eyes say something your mind can't deny
Whatever it is that's on your mind
I'll most likely find out in time
Cause the things we do when its just us two
Is talk and share feelings
Whatever it is that's bothering you will come out
Cause I am a part of you.
Tell me what it is that makes you so iffy
what is making your eyes so shifty?
Did something happen to make you mad
Make you upset, happy, sad?
Did we go through something I don't know
Tell me something, let me know
Whatever it is we'll make it through
Cause we both need each other, too.
Was it the thing we did
In the mind state of kids
Without thinking, we just did
Had a little fun among two close friends
Didn't think it would amount to this
Would this have occurred if we'd just kissed?
Something is wrong, you can't deny
It clearly shows when I look in your eyes.
